A realistic Sandboxels-style falling sand simulator with smooth sand, water, fire, smoke, magma, and material reactions.
Playable Sandboxels-inspired material lab
Sandboxels online falling sand simulator
Start by drawing materials, then build a scene, trigger reactions, and learn how each Sandboxels material behaves.
What is the goal?
Sandboxels is an open-ended falling sand game: the goal is to create a working material scene, test reactions, and discover chains such as water cooling magma, fire burning wood, or electricity traveling through wire.
How to start
Choose sand, water, fire, magma, plant, wire, or any other material. Draw it into the canvas, then use heat, cool, ignite, shock, drag, mix, erase, or preset scenes to make the world react.
Where to go next
Read the how-to-play page for the first five minutes, use the materials reference for reaction rules, and open the guides hub for volcano, water cycle, and material reaction walkthroughs.
